What I love to do.
My journey into homesteading began with a small flock of quails—and before I knew it, chicken math had taken over. Today, my flock includes quails, chickens, pheasants, frillback pigeons, and runner ducks.

In 2019, I began my second home renovation in Pittsburgh’s Avalon neighborhood, where I transformed my backyard into a sustainable oasis—complete with raised garden beds, composting, rainwater collection, and of course, chickens and quails. Once that project was complete, I returned to my hometown of Sharpsville, PA, to take on a new challenge: restoring an 1864 Victorian home and rebuilding my homestead from the ground up.

I’m a passionate hunter, gatherer, and gardener, striving to live a healthy, productive lifestyle by growing and harvesting much of my own food. My goal is to share extra eggs, produce, and herbs with others—helping to sustain the homestead and advocate for eating local and clean.
Our Team
It's basically just the two of us keeping everything running, while the rest seem to be on a permanent snack break.
