HOW IT WORKS

In 2019, Natalie began her second home renovation in Pittsburgh’s Avalon neighborhood, where she transformed her backyard into a sustainable oasis complete with raised garden beds, composting, rainwater collection, and of course, chickens. Once that project was complete, she returned to her hometown of Sharpsville, PA to take on a new challenge – restoring an 1864 Victorian home and rebuilding her homestead from the ground up. Her partner, Clayton, also has a homestead and a farm in Chicora, PA.

The Egg Stand is meant to bring connection and joy to the community. Eggs are available in the refrigerator during warmer months along with seasonal goods such as herbs and veggies when available.

We are passionate hunters, gatherers and gardeners striving to live a healthy, productive lifestyle by growing and harvesting much of our own food. Natalie specializes in herbal teas and their medicinal uses. Our goal is to share extra eggs, produce and herbs with others – helping to sustain our homesteads and advocate for eating local and clean.
